Well the first thing that annoyed me about going to the office this week was myself – forgetting my earphones case – imagine the horrors of having to listen to those inane conversations in the office.
The second that that annoyed me was this cunt:
And then the third thing was paying £12.00 for one slice of avocado toast at Farm Girl.
£12.00…for one slice. Well, it was £10.00 plus £2.00 for each poached egg.
“How many £2.00 poached eggs would you like, sir”?
That said, it was pretty looking – even if it looked even more of a joke at that price.
The bread was fairly standard wholemeal sourdough, the avocado mushy if on the cold side.
The poached egg was perfectly cooked – the Aleppo chilli flakes get a bonus point – but also something was awfully salty – the mint? It sounds strange to suggest mint could be really salty.
Overall, this £12.00 single slice of avocado on toast from Farm Girl was a bit of a joke.
